The Brad Turner Quartet; Although continuing to play together somewhat regularly, as they have done for the last ten years, the Quartet has not released anything since the Juno nominated Live at the Cellar, featuring Seamus Blake in 2000. This year they will be releasing a new live recording, entitled What Is, also recorded live, by Brad Turner, at the Cellar Jazz Caf?in Vancouver. This CD features all new compositions, and finds the quartet in fine form, with the same core lineup. The release date of the album was spring 2005, and this recording is also on the Maximum Jazz label.

The Brad Turner Trio; After performing together for some seven years now will be releasing their first recording titled Question the Answer. The cd will feature primarily original compositions, as well as some standard material, and a surprise guest!
Tracked at Turtle Recording Studios in White Rock, B.C. by Shawn Pierce, and then mixed beautifully by Shawn at MX Solutions, this recording represents the trio really well, both sonically and musically. This album was released in July, 2004, on the Maximum Jazz label. |
